In a new trailer for Barbie, the infamous Matell doll poses for a police mugshot after hitting a groper in the face.
The Hollywood movie, which stars Margot Robbie, 32, as the titular lead, shows Barbie dressed in head-to-toe rainbow lycra as she gets arrested after being assaulted in Venice Beach, LA.
The iconic doll is joined in a cell by her boyfriend Ken, who Ryan Gosling, 42, played.
The scene even made a subtle quip at him being a little more than Barbie’s accessory as his name board reads: “And Ken”.

Elsewhere in the trailer and Barbie’s seen having an “existential crisis” as she enters the real world.
The glamourous doll has a huge party before doing so and is seen asking her guests: “Have you guys ever thought about dying?”
Barbie is then offered a huge opportunity as she’s asked if she’d like to return to her own life or “know the truth about the real world”.
The doll chooses that latter as she is then seen embracing the harsh realities of life away from Barbie Land as Ken comes along for the ride.
In one scene, she’s seen getting her fingerprints taken at a police station and in another, she’s trying to escape Mattel’s CEO, who Will Ferrel plays.
People flocked to Twitter after the trailer was released to show their excitement.
One person wrote: “The Barbie trailer was so good I’m so excited!”
Another penned: “I’m so excited for the Barbie movie. Legit never felt so girlie pop in my life.”
While a third commented: “The Barbie trailer started making me cry, then Ken in the hospital asking to do an appendectomy was so f****** funny.”
Margot also lifted the lid on what it is like to bring the plastic doll to life on screen.
To the question, “What are Barbie’s feelings on sex?” Margot replied to the magazine: “I’m like, Okay, she’s a doll.”
Adding: “She’s a plastic doll. She doesn’t have organs. If she doesn’t have organs, she doesn’t have reproductive organs. If she doesn’t have reproductive organs, would she even feel sexual desire? No, I don’t think she could.”
Barbie lands in theatres on July 21
