Barbra Streisand claimed that Marlon Brando once asked to “f*** her”.
Recalling her meeting with Brando and after three hours of chatting, the Godfather actor looked right into her eyes and told Streisand: “I’d like to f*** you,” to which she responded: “That sounds awful.”
According to Barbra, he then changed his mind and said he’d “like to go to the museum with her,” which she thought was “very romantic”. Streisand admitted: “He’d hit on a fantasy of mine…to walk through a museum with someone I was very attracted to and look at great art…exploring it together.”

Streisand then remembered that his wife was sitting in another room before they began discussing his marriage. Barbra said that Marlon told her his wife, Tarita, was like a “ripe piece of fruit” as he asked her about her husband Elliott Gould.

Marlon’s next statement left her gobsmacked: “I don’t think you’re going to be with Elliott much longer […] He’s not good-looking enough for you. The saucy confession left Barbra “taken aback.”
Streisand met Brando while she was married to Elliott, with whom she tied the knot in 1963. The excerpt came from her new book, My Name Is Barbra, which covers her sixty years in the spotlight.

Elsewhere in her memoir, Barbra reflected on an interaction she had with the late Princess Diana. According to the singer, Streisand was saved by the royal from an imminent wardrobe malfunction back in 1992.
While the pair attended the London premiere of The Prince of Tides, they sat next to each other and Barbra remained seated while the Princess stood to clap so as to abide by royal protocol.

Diana encouraged Barbra to stand up and as she did so, the princess zipped up her skirt which had come undone while seated. Streisand recalled: “The zipper on my skirt had come down a bit as I was sitting and she noticed and quickly started to zip it up for me as I got to my feet.”
“When I finally sat down, Diana turned to me and asked: ‘Do you know how wonderful you are?’”
