Martin Kemp once confessed to having sex in son Roman Kemp’s bed.
After the Capital FM presenter, 30, admitted to doing the deed in his parents bed, the ex-EastEnders actor had no problem turning the tables. The former member of Spandau Ballet, who turns 62 today (October 10), revealed he did the exact same with wife of 35 years, Shirlie, in Roman’s bed.
Martin previously said: “He told me that he had sex in my bed, mine and Shirlie’s bed, with someone. So, I told him I did it in his. What’s wrong with that?” The musician shares a close relationship with his children, confirming he’s always tried to keep things relaxed at home.

Speaking to host Angela Scanlon on RTÉ’s Ask Me Anything earlier this year, he said: “When I brought my kids up, I tried not to create that parent – child relationship. I tried to create a bunch of friends and a gang, and a lot of people say you shouldn’t do that, there might be no boundaries.

“But we enjoyed having it like that. If you make a mistake, then you’ve let me down. It was never, I’m going to tell you off and sit over there! It was you’ve let me down because I’m your friend and you’ve let me down. I think it’s more beneficial because it’s kind of like psychological torture.”
Roman and Martin have appeared alongside each other on Celebrity Gogglebox multiple times, and the dad-of-two has never shied away from sharing intimate details about his life. Last year, the I’m A Celeb star stormed off after his dad made a “gross” sex confession while they were watching Netflix series How To Build a Sex Room.

In response to the necessity of an extra room to have sex in, Martin admitted that he and wife Shirlie “had sex in every room of the house”, causing a horrified Roman to abruptly leave. Martin said: “I don’t want a room that’s dedicated just to sex. Why can’t you just have sex everywhere? Me and mum [have sex] everywhere.”
Roman replied: “That’s disgusting. No, because now I’m sitting on the sofa [where you apparently had sex]. Gross. That’s it.” He then stormed out of shot, leaving Martin sitting on the sofa alone.

It was recently revealed that Roman is reportedly preparing to quit Capital FM after seven years. Roman, who fronts the breakfast show alongside Chris Stark and Sian Welby, is allegedly wanting to focus on a full-time television career.
A source told The Sun: “Roman has loved his time at Capital FM and it has been a huge learning curve for him over the years. But he feels now is the right time to pass the baton to someone else.’
