The Masked Singer fans have accused the show’s judges of being “delusional” by failing to recognise the celebrity they think plays Rhino.
Followers of the ITV series are convinced that the character is Busted singer Charlie Simpson, who is famed for his gravelly voice in the band and rock outfit Fightstar.
The show on Saturday (January 28) was themed “Clue Week”, with each celebrity contestant performed a song which contained a clue to their real identity.

Rhino performed The Lion King’s “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”, which many followers assumed was a reference to King Charles III, therefore “Charlie”.
But the judges named Tyson Fury, Charlie Puth, Jason Orange and Alfie Boe as their potential celeb beneath the bizarre costume.
One viewer wrote: “You’re absolutely delusional if you don’t think Rhino is Charlie Simpson. Man was my first ever crush I’d recognise him anywhere.”
Another commented: “That the judges can’t tell that Charlie Simpson is Rhino suggests either fakery or stupidity,” while a third opined: “It’s never been so obvious. One of the most awesome and distinctive voices around.”
A fourth added: “I think this is the most obvious masked singer contestant ever.. Charlie Simpson 1,000%,” as a further follower insisted: “Rhino competing with Knitting for most obvious masked celebrity in the history of this show.”
