Michael Jackson’s son Blanket, 21, unrecognisable in rare public outing with brother Prince

Michael Jackson’s two sons looked unrecognisable as they made a rare appearance together while out celebrating their late father’s birthday.

Prince Jackson, 26 and his scarcely seen brother Blanket “Bigi” Jackson, 21, were spotted honouring the legendary singer in Las Vegas on Tuesday, which would have been the Kind of Pop’s 65th birthday.

The siblings headed to Sin City’s Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino to catch a showing of Cirque de Soleil’s ongoing Michael Jackson ONE show — a state-of-the-art visual and audio experience dedicated to the Thriller singer’s legacy.

While there they greeted their father’s fans, who eagerly waited to take photos and get signed pictures from the brothers.

One Michael Jackson superfan even gifted them a picture of their dad with an angel on it and Prince was so touched by the gesture he gave her a warm hug in return.

He was seen wearing a simple grey t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans to the event, which he accessorised with a dark cap, a thick chain around his neck, a large black watch and a black cross-body bag.

Prince, whose real name is Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, isn’t a stranger to the spotlight, with the eldest child of the pop legend appearing on various TV shows, including as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

He recently appeared on an episode of Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin podcast and has also taken an interest in producing, working on several short films.

In comparison, his younger brother leads a much more private life.

Blanket, whose real name is Prince Michael Jackson II, now goes by the new nickname Bigi.

He was thrown into the limelight when his father infamously dangled him over a balcony in Berlin but since the singer’s death in 2009, he has rarely been seen in public.

The youngest of the Jackson brood looked more reserved than his brother on Tuesday as he subtly smiled and kept his hands by his side while taking pictures with fans.

He could be seen sporting dark, shoulder-length hair parted down the middle and opted for a loose-fitting black short-sleeve shirt paired with baggy black trousers.

Michael Jackson had three children before he died from a cardiac arrest following an overdose of propofol at the age of 50.

He welcomed Prince as well as his daughter, Paris Jackson, with his second wife Debbie Rowe, but Michael raised the siblings alone after their divorce in 1999.

Blanket was born in 2002 via a surrogate whose identity has never been revealed.

Paris, 25, has recently been following in her father’s footsteps by pursuing a singing career and she also works as an actress and model.

She also paid tribute to her father on his birthday as she hit out at trolls who she claimed send her death threats when she doesn’t publicly acknowledge his birthday.

In a video shared to Instagram, she revealed her late father didn’t even like his birthday.

“So today’s my dad’s birthday, and back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, celebrating it, nothing like that. He actually didn’t want us to even know when his birthday was because he didn’t want us to throw a party,” she recalled.

But she said she felt compelled to say something publicly because of the backlash she’s faced in the past.

She added: “If you don’t wish someone a happy birthday via social media, it apparently means that you don’t love them, you don’t care about them.

“There have been times where I don’t post anything for my dad’s birthday, and people lose their f***ing minds. They tell me to kill myself.”

“And they’re basically measuring my love for my own father based off of what I post on Instagram.”

Paris then shared a clip of herself on stage while opening for a band earlier that day where she received cheers while telling the crowd she “owes everything” to her dad.
