MILF Manor star Lisa Wilcox has revealed that fans were “disappointed” to see her on the sexy TLC show due to her famous film role.
Lisa is famed for playing Alice Johnson in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, wildly different from MILF Manor which sees eight women between the ages of 40 and 60 try to find love with younger men.
Speaking to Daily Star, Lisa explained how some fans were “disappointed” as they still saw her as the “innocent Alice” character from the horror franchise.

Asked about the response she got, Lisa said: “I had mostly a positive response. Most fans are like, ‘well you’ll always be my MILF and if you’re on it, I’ll watch it’.

“One fan did say ‘Oh my god, that is the most horrible news I’ve ever received in my life’.
“He was very disappointed. I think the fans loved the Alice Johnson character so much and they still look at me like that.
“In the 80s Alice was strong, sweet and innocent. Now here I am doing MILF Manor so I can understand that, but I mean I’m a grown woman for heaven’s sake.”
Lisa also explained that she “didn’t know” that she would be dating the other sons on the show.

She said: “It all started when Brian, an actor friend of mine, said, ‘Would you want to go to La Paz Mexico for a dating show? And your son can come too’.
“We knew it would be women dating younger guys and younger guys dating older women. We had no idea that I would be dating the other sons and Ryan dating other moms.”
The star continued: “There seems to be this implication that some people think that this program is an incestuous thing.
“It’s like good God we’re not dating our children, so I find that interpretation very strange.”

Lisa also explained that she didn’t mind watching her son flirt with the other mums.
She said: “It didn’t feel strange at all. I mean, I have an eldest son, I have two boys and I’ve seen them date all ages.
“They live with me and they go on dates and I meet them just as they have met people that I was dating.
“So honestly it’s not that strange because it’s not like I’m unfamiliar with him dating.”
