One star of TLC reality show My 3000lb Family has shown off her lithe figure in a full-body snap after losing around 500lbs.
Amanda Register shot to fame on the show, and was desperate to lose weight in order to undergo cancer surgery to remove a cancerous tumour.
But the operation couldn’t be completed until she reduced her weight to a less life-threatening level.

She originally weighed in at 715 pounds (51 stone) when she sought help from Dr Procter on the show.
Amanda shed 500lbs – more than 35 stone – and now looks totally different. In a recent Instagram update, Amanda paraded her trim figure in a bright pink tank top with spaghetti straps, and looked stunning.
In a side-by-side comparison snap with her heavier self, Amanda could be seen at her heaviest in a black bra and shorts, before stripping down to tight black leggings and the pink top for her transformation photo.
She added a pair of Nike sliders to her feet and showed off her cropped purple hair as she smouldered for the camera, with her flat stomach and tiny arms on display.
Celebrating the anniversary of her weight loss surgery, Amanda penned an emotional message to her social media followers.
She wrote: “It’s my surgiversary! 5 years ago today I made a huge decision to change my life. I had weight loss surgery.
“It has been a very challenging 5 years and by no means easy but so worth it. When I decided to change it wasn’t only to have surgery it was also to change my entire lifestyle.
“The before photo here was shortly after surgery so I had already lost a good bit. I lost about 100 pounds before surgery.
“My highest weight was close to 800. Highest documented weight was 715 and today I weighed in at 202. You are never too far gone to decide to change.”
Fans soon rushed to the comments section to congratulate the reality star, who now shares clips of her healthy diet and lifestyle online.
