A set of twins who weighed a combined 1200lbs when they appeared on TLC reality show My 600lb Life together look unrecognisable now.
Brandi and Kandi Dreier have slimmed down to the point of looking completely different after weighing in at 86 stone between them – around 600lbs each.
Things got so bad that when Kandi underwent weight loss surgery with the help of Dr Now on the programme, she suffered a pulmonary embolism and a heart attack on the operating table – resulting in a week-long medically induced coma.

The sisters’ weight struggles stemmed from a tragic childhood. Brandi and Kandi were abused by a friend of their father, and their mother was an alcoholic. Food became a comfort for them.
Now, however, the twins are thriving.
The pair each lost more than 200lbs on the show, and a follow-up episode showed their combined weight loss eventually reached 500lbs and growing.
Brandi now shares rare updates with fans on social media, and revealed that since the show, she has given birth to a healthy baby with her husband Femi.
In one snap, the pair could be seen standing outside a courtroom where they tied the knot, with Brandi looking incredibly slim in a floral gown while holding her baby girl alongside her hubby, who looks dapper in a suit.
Brandi let her auburn curls flow loose around her shoulders as she beamed for the camera, adding a purple pendant necklace to her ensemble and opting for a natural make-up look.
Brandi announced she was pregnant with a second child in 2020 and has since welcomed a second daughter.
Revealing the news on social media, she wrote: “Words can’t even describe how truly lucky and blessed we are. I can’t thank you God enough to have given me the honour of being these little babies’ mommy.
“They are my purpose in life, they are my everything. God is so amazing.”

As for Kandi, she’s also looking incredible – and in one slimline snap could be seen standing by a lake in a black sports jacket, showing off her trim figure.
In another snap, she sat down in a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved top, showing off her tiny waist as she smiled shyly for the camera.
Both twins wanted to remove their excess skin on the show, though Brandi’s pregnancy threw a spanner in the works – it is not yet known whether their surgeries went ahead.
