One 6’6” star of TLC reality show My Giant Life was left stunned after a short bloke rejected her – because she was still a virgin.
Alicia Jay headed out on a cooking class date with Adonis, a 6’2” bloke, and things seemed to be going well after the pair hit it off immediately.
Adonis confessed: “I’ve never seen a woman quite as tall as her. I’m definitely intrigued. I want to learn a bit more about her… I took it as a challenge.”

In her own confessional, Alicia admitted: “Adonis is attractive. He has a great smile, he’s a caring person. It definitely felt romantic and sexy.

“I would definitely like to go on a second date with Adonis. We’re vibing, we’re having a great time together and I really like the chemistry we’re having.”
But towards the end of the night, Adonis invited himself up to Alicia’s apartment, which left a sour taste in her mouth.
In a very awkward encounter, Adonis told her: “[The date] doesn’t have to be over. I can come up and we can extend the night a little bit.”
Alicia looked embarrassed as she said: “You can. But first, I just wanted to let you know that I’m a virgin. I’m waiting to have sex until I’m married. So we can go up there, but we’re just going to talk.”

Adonis was clearly taken aback as he questioned: “You’ve never had sex? At all? You didn’t mention that at the cooking…”
Alicia retorted: “I didn’t, because I just met you. It was our first date, so why would I tell you that? Like, I have to walk into the room and say, ‘I’m a virgin’?”
The couple were both left red-faced as Adonis finally said: “You know what? Have a good night. I think I’m going to pass on going upstairs and talking. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, I’ll stay within my boundaries.”
He later told the cameras: “I really hope that Alicia can find the man that she’s looking for. I think it’s going to be a tough obstacle being as tall and virginal as she is.”

As Alicia fumed: “I can’t believe we had such an amazing date with such a terrible ending. I know that I will find the right guy, but when situations like this happen, it’s like, ‘When is it gonna happen?’”
Fans of the TLC show soon took to the comments to slam Adonis’ behaviour, with one writing: “That guy clearly only had one thing on his mind, and that’s sad. I hope she finds someone who will value her, appreciate her, and respect her morals.”
As another followed up: “He just wanted a hook-up. She is looking for a relationship.”
“Any man who thinks a woman should disclose this on a first or second date should ask themselves when they would tell a woman that he only has one testicle. It’s certainly not something men would reveal over cooking a meal on a date.”
