Channel 4 has set the record straight following rumours they are axing several shows, including Naked Attraction, due to financial problems.
It was reported this week that the broadcaster is apparently scrapping programmes like Naked Attraction, Scared Of The Dark, Rescue: Extreme Medics and Four Weddings.
The decision to axe these shows was apparently due to a lack of funding – with Channel 4 staff calling the shake up “bloodbath”.

However, a spokesperson for Channel 5 has since spoken out about the rumours, rubbishing accusations that the channel has “run out of money.”
Speaking to Mirror they said: “Naked Attraction has not been decommissioned and a new series will return to Channel 4 next year.
“Scared of the Dark enjoyed a celebrated first season with excellent linear and streaming performance.”
The spokesperson also spoke about claims the broadcaster has run out of money and said: “Channel 4 is in robust health – however like all commercial broadcasters we’re taking some precautionary measures – such as rephrasing some content and production – in response to a downturn in the ad-market. The vast majority of our shows have not been affected.”
It’s good news for fans of the raunchy Channel 4 show Naked Attraction – which has been on air since 2016.
The series sees naked people strip off from their feet upwards while a person in clothes chooses who they want to date.
Fronted by telly legend Anna Richardson, the programme has been a hit with viewers since airing and had made plenty of headlines over the years.
Some contestants that have left viewers gobsmacked include a woman confessing about a rather awkward dogging incident and a man who admitted he liked watching himself in the mirror whilst doing his bedroom business.
Another classic Naked Attraction moment is when the show made “history” when a real-life married couple were looking for a “third” to make them into a “throuple”.
Meanwhile, Scared Of The Dark premiered back in April earlier this year.
The Danny Dyer-led show followed a bunch of celebs living, eating and sleeping in the dark for 180 hours in a world first.
Paul Gascoigne, Scarlett Moffatt, Chris McCausland, Donna Preston, Chloe Burrows, Max George, Chris Eubank and Nicola Adams all took part in the experiment for the first series.
