There’s a new naked dating show on the horizon, and casting for saucy singletons is already underway.
That show is Dating Naked – which has been branded “America’s Naked Attraction”. First aired in 2014, the show sees a man and woman dating two different nude suitors in an exotic location. Now the series, which originally aired on VH1, is headed to MTV.
It originally aired three seasons in Panama, the Philippines and Bora Bora. But unlike its racier UK counterpart, cameras never showed the stars’ genitals, and instead blurred their privates out.

In promo images recently released by the network, an equally naked man and woman pose with only scraps of fabric to preserve their modesty, standing on the white sands of a glorious beach. It’s now casting, with agents hunting for singletons who would be up for stripping naked to find love.
A source told The Sun: “This show is really going to push the boundaries, it’s like Naked Attraction meets Love Island – so fans of both series will be in for a treat. Finding love isn’t the only incentive for potential contestants – there will also be a huge cash prize for the winner.
“But the contestants will have to be seriously at one with nature because they’ll be filmed nude for pretty much the entire time they’re on the show.”
Bosses are said to be searching for “body-confident extroverts” for filming, with the synopsis teasing the show as “a new social experiment provides daters with a radical dating experience where before they bare their souls they bare everything else first.” And this time, no blurring will take place.
It’s scheduled for filming in February 2024, in a luxury South American villa. Those interested in applying must be 20 years old or above, and have to prove that they’re not in a relationship on the outside world.
It comes after Naked Attraction bosses were forced to step in when the show caused a stir with viewers in the US. It hit streaming on HBO Max and left viewers shocked at just how racy things got.
Show boss Darrell Olsen addressed the controversy while chatting to The Hollywood Reporter – confessing the same thing happened in its native country. He said: “What’s happening in the States right now is [like how the U.K. reacted] seven or so years ago. You have ‘I can’t believe this is on screen’ – shock and outrage – mixed with ‘This is quite amazing.’ The show isn’t for everyone, but everyone is interested in it.

“I think what will happen with you guys is, hopefully, what happened over here, where the ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this is on TV’ turns into ‘It’s a pretty good show.’ Also, the stories get better and we push more boundaries [in the latter seasons].”
He refused a “watered down” version for US audiences and doesn’t fancy everyone wearing undies to get around modesty protocol – but he’d be up for launching an American version eventually.
