Olly Murs’ replacement on The Voice has been “confirmed” by AI – after ITV brutally axed him.
The chart-topping singer was a mentor on the smash hit ITV show for six years. He had undoubtedly made his mark during his time on show clinching victory as a mentor twice.
However, in September, Olly revealed he had been dropped from the line-up, admitting he was “gutted and shocked” by boss’ decision. According to the Heart Skips A Beat hitmaker, it was not his choice to say goodbye to the show.

He said: “I’m gutted. I got the call last week to say I won’t be back on the show, and it’s a bit of a shock, to be honest. I didn’t really expect that to come.”
He added to The Sun: “I don’t want to bulls**t my fans or bulls**t people who watch the show, and say, ‘Oh, it was an amicable decision to leave’ — I’ve got lots of things on next year, I can’t do it any more”. Olly added: “Did I want to leave? No. Will I still watch the show? Of course, but it’ll be sore thinking that could have been me”.
Now, AI has shared its thoughts on who could be replacing Olly on the ITV show. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see which music star could replace Olly on The Voice.
It responded: “There are several rumors circulating about who could potentially take his place.” The program then listed some of the “most popular contenders.”
First up is music star Tom Grennan. Bard AI explained: “The 26-year-old singer-songwriter has been a rising star in the music industry in recent years, and his soulful voice and stage presence would make him a great fit for The Voice.”
Up next is worldwide superstar Ed Sheeran – which would be a “major coup” for the singing competition. The system claimed: “Ed is one of the most successful artists in the world, and his addition to The Voice would be a major coup for the show.” Bard AI did note that Ed is a “busy touring artist” so “it is unclear if he would have the time to commit to the show.”
