Ozzy Osbourne says 'I'm not f***ing dying' after cancelling gigs amid health battles

Defiant Ozzy, 74, revealed that his health issues, including Parkinson’s and damaged neck and leg nerves, continue to plague him but recording new music keeps his spirits up.

He declared: “I’m f***ing not dying, I am still in constant pain.”

The Brummie stated in January he could not return to the stage after rehab failed – then vented his anger at the media for reporting his comments.

He said: “I have been working my guts out to try and get back on my feet. So, if I can ever get back to where I can tour again, fine.

“But right now I can’t book tours because I don’t think I could pull them off.”

While Ozzy is working hard to get back to where he once was, in the meantime he was sadly forced to cancel his upcoming UK and European tour dates.

The rock icon posted a heartfelt statement on social media on February 1 as he announced his retirement from touring.

He wrote: “This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans.

“As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine.

“My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) treatment, my body is still physically weak.”

The rock legend added: “Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way.”

Ozzy signed off the emotional statement, saying: “I want to thank my family…my band…my crew…my longtime friends, Judas Priest, and of course, my fans for their endless dedication, loyalty, and support, and for giving me the life that I never ever dreamed I would have.

“I love you all.”

Fans are awaiting further updates from Ozzy and hope to hear that he is feeling ready to get back in the saddle.
