Throughout her career Pamela Anderson has established her place among the most desirable women on the planet, showcasing her beauty on Baywatch.
However, that didn’t necessarily mean she wanted people to see any more than what she chose to.
When her sex tape with Tommy Lee was stolen and released back in 1996, her fans were shocked to their core.

More recently, the scandal and fall-out was explored in the biopic drama Pam & Tommy – a dramatised version of events starring Lily James as Pamela and Sebastian Stan as Tommy.
And while Pamela made her distaste for the series very clear, she’s also been very open about the sex tape and the harm it did her.
Back in May 1996 while promoting Barb Wire, she told CNN: “It’s devastating. But I really do believe that if anyone were to print those pictures, because it is stolen property, I really think they are going to pay for that and I really strongly believe and have faith that’s going to happen.”
Of course, it was released and Internet Entertainment Group started selling physical copies of it for $15 (£11.80).
It’s estimated that the sex tape made $77million (£60m), but Pamela has always been adamant that she didn’t see a penny of it.
She said in her Netflix documentary: “We never made a dime off that and I hate when people say we settled on something. We never settled on anything, we just told people to get lost.
“If anyone watches it, if anyones buys it, if anyone sells it, it’s just pathetic. You can’t put a monetary number on the amount of pain and suffering it caused.”
However, Milton Ingley, the man who decided to leak the video, made millions, according to his daughter Helen – but he blew it on a luxe lifestyle of £300 bottles of Champagne, prostitutes and cocaine.
At the time, Pamela was sure that her career was over, and she has since said: “I was the punchline of jokes on a lot of talk shows. It was super humiliating.
“If [the public] fall in love with you one way that’s it… after that it just solidified the cartoon image of me, you become a character. I think that was the deterioration of whatever image I had.”
According to the MailOnline, the actress was rendered “heartbroken” and “embarrassed” over the leaked video.
She said: “I don’t ever want our kids to see it. Why would anyone ever willingly release something like that?”
Pamela doubled down in 2015, when she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live: “I’ve never seen it. I made not one dollar. It was stolen property. We made a deal to stop all the shenanigans.
“I was seven months pregnant with Dylan and thinking it was affecting the pregnancy with the stress and said, ‘I’m not going to court any more. I’m not being deposed anymore by these horny, weird lawyer men.
“I don’t want to talk about my vagina any more or my public sex – anything.”
In the hour-long video, the pair only engage in sexual intercourse for approximately eight minutes.
An emotional Pamela added: “We made it for ourselves.
“We got home and put it in the safe. It wasn’t something we discussed with anyone. It was just for fun, for us.”
Speaking on CBS Sunday Morning earlier this year, she said: “We were two crazy naked people in love.”
She went on: “I mean, we were naked all the time and filming each other and being silly.”
