Phillip Schofield branded ‘most loathsome bloke on TV’ by Dan Wootton amid Holly ‘fallout’

Phillip Schofield has been branded the “most loathsome bloke on TV” by Dan Wooton amid rumours of a “feud” with Holly Willoughby.

61-year-old Phil and 42-year-old Holly have fronted countless shows together for years – but in recent months it’s been reported the two pals are not “as close as they once were.”

And now, Dan Wooton has launched a scathing attack on Phillip, recalling his own “unpleasant” experience working with him.

Appearing on GB News, host Dan was joined by former editor of The Sun Kelvin MacKenzie to discuss Holly and Phil’s alleged fallout – and Dan did not hold back.

He asked: “This is a big issue for ITV, because This Morning is their big show, and they have a situation where one of their big stars doesn’t want to work with the other one, whilst Phillip is trying to twist her arm publicly.”

Giving his opinion, Kelvin said: “It’s an important show for ITV, but let’s be honest they have had 14 years together and most double acts don’t survive.

Kelvin added that he didn’t feel sorry for Phillip as he has had a “bloody good run” over his 14 years.

Dan added: “You are right, I think Holly is getting sick of the fact that he tries to dominate, and being fed of interrupting her.

“Ruth Langsford actually made a formal complaint to ITV bosses. Phillip Schofield is the most loathsome bloke on television.

“He has no allies behind the scenes at ITV, he is hated by people like Amanda Holden and Fern Britton because he has treated them so badly over the years.”

Dan went on: “He is an unpleasant character who rules the roost.”

Daily Star has reached out to a representative for Phil for comment.

On Thursday (May 11), Phillip broke his silence over claims he and Holly have had a backstage fallout – following a slew of controversies including his brother Timothy’s sex offence trial and Queuegate.

“The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us. As I have said before, Holly is my rock,” Phil told The Sun.

“We’re the best of friends — as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone. Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.”

However Holly has reportedly since been left blindsided after Phillip’s statement about their relationship.
