Phillip Schofield’s former lover was reportedly just 15 when they met, before the secret affair started when he helped get him a job at This Morning.
Schofe, 61, admitted to the affair on Friday (May 26) and said he had lied to ITV bosses, while ITV slammed his “deceit” in their own statement.
Now, it is reported that the younger man, who is not being named out of respect for his privacy, was just a schoolboy when he and Phil first met.

At the time, Phil had been giving a talk at the theatre school the younger man attended, and he asked Schofe for a job, who later arranged an interview.
It led to him landing a production assistant role at ITV when he turned 18, and he was later removed from This Morning and moved to Loose Women, according to Daily Mail.
The publication has reported that Schofe was forced to admit to the affair when the legal team he hired for the younger man told all to his lawyers.
Phil’s former lover, now in his 20s, reportedly told lawyers that he was tired of lying about the relationship.
The affair is believed to have started after the young man got his break at ITV, when Phil was in his early 50s.
Dad-of-two Phil has apologised for “lying” about the affair and explosively quit ITV completely, just days after he left This Morning for an unrelated reason.
ITV released a damning statement, also saying they had investigate the rumours when they first emerged in 2020 but both parties denied anything was happening.
The statement read: “Further to our statement last night, ITV can confirm that when rumours of a relationship between Phillip Schofield and an employee of ITV first began to circulate in early 2020 ITV investigated.
“Both parties were questioned and both categorically and repeatedly denied the rumours as did Phillip’s then agency YMU.
“In addition, ITV spoke to a number of people who worked on This Morning and were not provided with, and did not find, any evidence of a relationship beyond hearsay and rumour.
“Phillip’s statement yesterday reveals that he lied to people at ITV, from senior management to fellow presenters, to [his agents] YMU, to the media and to others over this relationship.”
