Piers Morgan says a random stranger called him a “d***head” during a bizarre encounter on the street.
The TalkTV host was minding his business when the man “called Ross” targeted him on the street.
Piers said the man repeatedly swore at him as he was interrupted on his lunchtime stroll.

But when he asked Ross why he didn’t like him, he was told it was because of the way he speaks to others.
Speaking about the incident on Twitter, Piers wrote: “Just met a very angry little man called Ross who repeatedly called me a “d***head.
“And when I asked him why he thought this, he replied: “I don’t like the way you talk to people.”
“Then he walked off shouting “D*CKHEAD!” at the top of his voice.”
The controversial figure was recently named as the predicted media personality to take over from Holly and Phil on This Morning.
PR expert Anthony Burr, who focuses on Publicity, Media, and Crisis Management, told Metro: “ITV may well play it safe and promote Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond to fill Phil and Holly’s shoes permanently.
“But if they do want to take the opportunity for a change of direction, and execs feel that it is time for a more hard-hitting programme, don’t be surprised to hear Piers Morgan’s or Davina McCall’s names being bandied about.”
The remarks come after ongoing rumours about a backstage feud between Holly and Phil, with viewers speculating about the show’s future.
But the duo have put on a brave face and have continued to present together this week.
Phil told The Sun: “We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
“Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her. The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.”
