Rachel McAdams has been praised for showing off her “beautiful” armpit hair after choosing to ditch the razor – but some fans think it’s “nasty”.
The Mean Girls star, 44, flaunted her unshaven pits in a photoshoot with Bustle on Tuesday.
And the au naturel mum-of two asked for the images to be edited as little as possible.

But while some fans thought she looked “beautiful”, others claimed that her body hair was “nasty”.
In one picture, the actress’ armpit hair can be spotted as she loafs on a red velvet coach.
Another showed the star sporting a slinky white dress, giving her best blue steel.
One hand behind her back again reveals her underarms.
The star took the snaps as part of her promotion of upcoming film Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret, an adaptation of the esteemed novel by Judy Blume.
Rachel was keen to share some shaving advice which her mother gave her as a preteen.
She told Bustle: “Well, I’m going to give you the advice my – your mother – gave me.”
“‘Once you start, you can never stop,’ and I remember rolling my eyes about that, and thinking, ‘Ugh, that’s not the fun answer,’ but it’s so true.
“Life is long once, shaving is intense, but if you’re gonna go ahead with it anyway, watch the ankle bones, the shins.”
The Notebook actress continued to explain the horrors of what happens when people shave without shaving cream.
She added: “You’re gonna go to Bible camp and think it’s okay to shave without shaving cream, and it’s gonna be terrible.
“Always have shaving cream, and then if you want to stop shaving again one day, that’s okay, too.”
Rachel’s fans took to social media to share their thoughts but were left divided.
One Instagrammer gushed: “Love her for embracing her natural beauty!”
Another agreed: “One of the few celebs in Hollywood who embraces her natural beauty and haven’t done any plastic surgeries. So much respect for her.”
Other cruel followers weren’t quite so complimentary, as one person said: “Dear Lord…she has more pit hair than me. Not sure who exactly really wants pit hair. It’s kinda worthless.”
A second said: “Am I seeing badly or does she have armpit hair?”
A third even nicknamed her “Rachel McArmpits”.
