Rita Ora has blasted social media for intruding into stars’ private lives – despite regularly posting to her 16million Instagram followers.
The singer blamed platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for robbing modern celebs of their mystique.
Rita – who boasts more than 24.3million likes on Tiktok – said: “I think the mystery is gone.

“You don’t see massive groups of people crying when a famous person gets into a car, like back in the days when you would see footage of The Beatles getting off a plane.
“Now people can see what you’re doing all the time.
“You have Instagram, TikTok, and it’s up to you how much you share, but if you’re not connected, people are like, ‘Who do you think you are?’
“I choose to be open with my social media, but I miss the idea of mystery.”
The pop star, 32, often shares behind-the-scenes shots of her nights out, gym routines and beauty treatments.
She has recently used her massive online following to plug her latest album You & I, due out on Friday.
Last week she shared photos of herself at Paris Fashion Week, as well as a snap with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Rita, who is married to Taika Waititi, also revealed her regret over breaking lockdown rules with her 30th birthday bash in 2020.
She was fined £10,000 for throwing the party at Casa Cruz in Notting Hill, West London.
Apologising for her decision, she admitted that “people were making huge sacrifices at the time, and I let them down. And that hurts.”
She added the worst part was that it upset her mum, an NHS psychiatrist.
However Rita went on to have a dig at ex-PM Boris “Bozo” Johnson and the Partygate scandal.
She added: “I’ve said everything I need to say. You should ask Boris Johnson about that.”
