Ryan Reynolds has showed up at the famous tent and Great British Bake Off fanatics have gone wild.
The movie star, who is often in the UK as he co-owns Wrexham Football Club with fellow actor Rob McElhenny, shared a picture of himself standing next to Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith on Twitter with the caption: “Full and unconditional hug of pure serotonin.”
Prue, 83, was wearing a customary bright top while Paul could be seen beaming while pointing at Ryan.

The Deadpool star revealed recently that he and his wife Blake Lively love Bake Off as “it’s a nice thing to watch at night”.

After Ryan, 46, shared the fun image with his 21million followers, fans gushed that he was an “honorary Brit” and that “if joy was a photograph this is it”.
Fans also joked that Prue and Paul, 57, looked like his parents and that it was the “crossover we didn’t know we needed”.
Another gushed: “Ohhhh my giddy aunt! Please say that you are going to be on Bake Off.”

Ryan said of Bake Off previously: “We live in a world that’s pretty divisive right now and there’s a lot going on.
“Everybody on the show is nice to each other, which I find refreshing. It’s not really about anything that’s going to remind you of chaos.”
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Alison Hammond would be taking over as GBBO host, replacing Matt Lucas.
She will co-host the hit Channel 4 show with comedian Noel Fielding.

Speaking about her fantastic new gig, Alison, 47, said: “I’ll be honest with you, I’m just in it for the cake,” she admitted, before adding: “I really am.”
However, she also revealed that as part of her audition, producers asked her to approach customers at a garden centre to test her friendliness – and there was no cake in sight!
