Saturday Kitchen Live fans have been stunned after the host of the show said the show was not live.
Fans of the hit BBC cooking show tuned in on Saturday (August 12) to see Matt Tebutt take to the kitchen once again.
He began to introduce the guests who would be featuring on the episode, including wine connoisseur Helen McGinn and comedian Ed Byrne.

After his initial introduction, he asked all the guests on what kind of foods they enjoy eating and what they do not like.
Conversation turned to Ed, who said he has an absolute disdain for peas, which caused the other guests to look at him with confusion.
The comedian, 51, said that whilst indulging in the likes of Chinese food, he spent “around 30 minutes” taking out the “uninvited peas” from his meal.
Joking with the dad-of-two, Matt revealed that there was a surprise in store for Ed as he would be made to eat a dish made up of black bean, pork or cucumber – but did not admit what specific meal he would take on.
Viewers of the show expected that they would be in charge of deciding what kind of meal the Irishman would be tasting live on the programme.
But after introducing his guests, Matt dropped a bombshell after he announced that this edition of the show was not being broadcast live.
As a result, this meant that fans who regularly watch the hit BBC show would not have a say in what the funny man would be tucking into.
Matt then jumped into the first dish to be cooked of the show with young chef Big Has, but viewers had not moved on from Tebutt’s confession.
Fans of the show immediately took to social media to voice their frustrations with the show.
One user tweeted: “Darn it, all ready to vote on #saturdaykitchen to only find out its not live!”
Whilst another was unsure of what they had heard: “It’s NOT live, apparently? At least according to @matt_tebbutt … #saturdaykitchen.”
A third viewer took a screenshot of BBC’s TV listings with Saturday Kitchen Live highlighted, whilst they captioned the snap: “No.”
