Saturday Kitchen viewers ‘obsessed’ as they swoon over celebrity chef on BBC show

Fans of Saturday Kitchen Live were left drooling as Irish chef Anna Haugh appeared on the popular BBC show.

Things were off to a cheerful start on the morning programme, as Matt Tebbutt led the way showcasing his culinary skills with his celeb guests on standby.

But viewers were evidently distracted by Anna’s stunning good looks as she cooked up a storm in the kitchen.

Heading over to X, formerly known as Twitter, one happy viewer said: “Well after that rundown it’s pretty clear that the tastiest thing on today’s #SaturdayKitchen is @Anahaugh herself.”

Another wrote: “Obsessed with her makeup look! @Anahaugh.”#

Anna Haugh caught viewers’ attentions

A third chimed: “@Anahaugh is always a delight on #SaturdayKitchen.”

While a fourth added: “Always enjoy #SaturdayKitchen but even more so when the lovely@Anahaugh is on. She banters brilliantly with @matt_tebbutt.”

But as well as Anna’s dazzling appearance, fans were also distracted by the amount of “fake laughter” that was taking place with Matt and his guests.

Although funnyman Russell Howard was on the show, viewers at home began to find the jovial nature of the programme rather tiresome.

Heading over to X again, fans shared their frustrations.

One viewer penned: “Does the fake laughter on #SaturdayKitchen know no limits ffs? Every week…increasing howls of fake laughter. Incredible.”

Another spectator echoed: “Am I the only person not laughing at this? The production staff are making up for it by the sound of it.”

While a third also said: “Tebbutt and his forced fake laughter is insufferable.”

Fans had a number of complaints during the show

Last week, fans of the show demanded answers after it was revealed that a number of shows had already been pre-recorded.

The BBC show later confirmed that the show will return to its live format, but fans were left dissatisfied.

An X user wrote at the time: “The burrito obvs but when can we get back to live …. It’s much more entertaining.”

While another viewer said: “I wanna know WHY they’re not live and when do they actually film the non-live ones?”
