One School of Rock star looks completely unrecognisable after ditching his grunge guitarist image from the hit Jack Black film.
Lucas Babin starred as Spider in the 2003 comedy film – Dewey’s replacement as the lead singer in his rock band No Vacancy before he lands a role as a teacher.
The star was best known for sporting a cut-out leather top and a huge chest tattoo as he rocked out to the guitar on-stage, along with long brunette locks.

After School of Rock, Babin went on to land roles in everything from CSI to The Young and the Restless – but now he has a totally different career.
Lucas left the spotlight behind to pursue a career in law, and is now a district attorney in Tyler County, Texas.
Lucas is the son of US Representative Bruce Babin, and got his law degree from the University of Houston back in 2014.
Four years later, he ran for Tyler County DA and won the seat – and that’s after making “up to $7,000 a day” posing as a fashion model for brands like Gucci and Versace.
Fans have been left baffled by his career move, especially as a new photograph of Lucas emerged showing him in a charcoal blazer, crisp white shirt and pink tie – sporting brunette locks cropped close to his head and a small moustache.
Lucas could be seen standing at a podium as he delivered a speech – and sent fans wild.
One commented: “Imagine having to explain to your family that you got put away for life by the dude who gyrated on Joan Cusack in a 2003 Jack Black comedy.”
As someone else giggled: “The guy who played Spider in School of Rock is now the district attorney of Tyler County, Texas, and now we’re all just going to have to live with this information forever.”
A third fan said: “He’s making sure there is NO VACANCY at the Tyler County jail.”
While somebody else echoed: “His arms-only leather jacket and hip sway when playing guitar still haunts me.”

Babin was also involved in a huge Netflix lawsuit against its show Cuties, which was dismissed in 2022.
According to an indictment filed against Netflix, the film “knowingly promotes visual material which depicts the lewd exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 years of age at the time the visual material was created, which appeals to the prurient interest in sex and has no serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.”
The coming-of-age story followed an 11-year-old immigrant who joins a dance group – but proved controversial for showing sexualised dance moves.
But Babin later submitted a motion to dismiss the case “without prejudice”.
