She told Daily Star: “Some of the biggest misconceptions are that you are in it because you want to be a swinger and you just enjoy lots of sex.
“I think all humans enjoy sex and attention, but that’s not the whole purpose of polyamory.
“I’m in long-term committed relationships with several people.”
The star continued: “We just choose what we want to do on individual nights.
“We are free. We are in freedom-based relationships. So there’s no obligatory sex.
“I’m not obligated to have sex with him just because he’s my husband. He’s not obligated to have sex with me just because I’m his wife.”
Kenya then went on to explain: “I’m not obligated to do anything I don’t want to do and I am first in my life.
“So it depends on what I want. There’s no rotation. There is no schedule.
“There is no calendar it’s just organic love.”
The star then went on to say that she “loves” that TLC has shown “polyamory from a woman’s perspective. ”
Kenya explained: “They have never seen this.
“They didn’t know that women cared about sensuality. They didn’t know women wanted multiple men.
“Yeah, now they know and it’s scary.
“The American male viewer is very afraid of this new feminine, but they better get used to it because we’re here to stay and show the men how we can nurture multiple partners successfully.”
