TV presenter Stacey Dooley has given birth to a beautiful baby daughter with her Strictly star partner Kevin Cliffton.
The new mum announced her exciting news on Tuesday (January 17) with a sweet post on Instagram, where she revealed they’d named their little girl Minnie.
The 35-year-old told fans she was “completely obsessed” with her first child and shared an adorable snap of a letter which read: “Minnie’s parents” on the cover.

Gushing over her baby, Stacy wrote: “Our Daughter is here. My little masterpiece! I’m COMPLETELY OBSESSED. Love you Minnie, Love you Kev x”
Stacey’s fans and friends rushed to congratulate the happy couple in the comments, with one writing: “Congratulations, lovely news!! You will now be forever known as Minnie’s Mum, no point having a name!”
A second said: “Congratulations to you both on the birth of your baby daughter. Enjoy every moment. They grow up far too quickly!”
A third added: “Congratulations to you both xx”
It came shortly after she announced her “penultimate day of work” with a snap of her baby bum peeping out of her top.
Posting a mirror selfie in the outfit to Instagram, she wrote: “My penultimate day of work before the baby comes,”
“I haven’t got a steriliser yet, but I have got this completely impractical bag for expectant mothers so DON’T WORRY, (I’m gonna be great at this clearly),” she stated.
Stacey announced her pregnancy via Instagram back in August 2022, sharing a sweet snapshot of a polaroid image showing Stacey holding her bump.
“Gaaaaaaang….. We are having a baby! So bloody delighted. Kev, you’re magic, I love youuuu,” she wrote.
Stacey continued: “(Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I’ve had my tits done in LA I’m gonna scream).”
She concluded: “Here goessssssss!”
Kevin also shared the big news to his Instagram, sharing a post of the polaroid with the caption: “”We’re having a baby!”
“And I think my girl @sjdooley looks beautiful pregnant,” he sweetly added.
Before her big news, Stacey had opened up about wanting to prioritise her happiness and focus on making a family.
Speaking in her BBC One documentary, she said: “I’d like to prioritise happiness. My home life. For the last 15 years it’s been work, work, career, work, work and then your private life is on the back burner. I’m 35 so…”

Stacey started dating her former dance partner Kevin Clifton after performing together on BBC’s dance competition Strictly Come Dancing. The pair went on to win the show in 2018.
They announced they were dating in 2019 shortly after lifting the Glitterball trophy.
