Strictly’s Janette Manrara has her sights set on one very talented dancer to join her on It Takes Two.
Last year, the show was hosted by Janette and her co-star Rylan Clark, but Rylan confirmed earlier this year that he would not be taking part in the next series of the show.

So while fans wait very eagerly to hear who will be taking over from Rylan for the next series of the extra show, Janette threw a name out as a suggestion.
Speaking at Warner Hotels’ Thoresby Hall for their Strictly Come Dancing weekend, Janette suggested her husband Aljaž Škorjanec would make a good co-host.

She said: “We do need a new co-host, don’t you think? I’m not being biased, he’s my husband, but if I’m gonna have a TV husband who is better than my actual husband?”
While Aljaž didn’t give anything away as to whether he would like to take part in it, he did gush over the show itself as he added: “As a husband it is just amazing when your wife gets paid to talk – the evenings are very different,” he cheekily said.
Janette also praised It Takes Two as she said she was in her “element” landing the show.

She said: “I’ve always been a team player and on It Takes Two I can do that and officially celebrate everyone. I can celebrate dance, I can celebrate the best show on TV.
“If I’m not dancing on the show, that is literally the next best job in the world that I could possibly do.”
Janette also explained that it made things easier when they were deciding on when to start having children, adding: “The Strictly schedule can be really tricky, but because I got It Takes Two we were finally able to start exploring being parents and not have that pressure of how we were going to make it work.”
The TV favourite added that she is “really grateful” for the show.
At the moment, Janette is a solo presenter on It Takes Two as the news of Rylan’s replacement is yet to be announced.
Strictly will return in its usual glitz and glamour setting later in the year – and It Takes Two will be back alongside it.
