Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones was left in tears after a DIY SOS star shared an emotional tribute to her late father.
The professional dancer, 34, joined several of her co-stars including Luba Mushtuck, Nancy Xu and Graziano Di Prima for a special episode of the BBC DIY series, hosted by Nick Knowles.
The Strictly stars joined forces with the presenter and his team for an exciting project, transforming a performing arts school in Wallsend, North Tyneside.

DIY SOS – Strictly Special saw the team transform the building used by charity True Colours, which supports children and young adults of all abilities who have a passion for dance.
During the episode, Katya met keen dancer Charis who has Down syndrome.
The 20-year-old explained that her father Bruce passed away just a few weeks before filming and she has turned to dance to help cope with her grief.
Charis told Katya she would be performing a contemporary dance as a tribute to her father who she described as “handsome” and “charismatic”.
As Charis took to the stage, she performed her solo to Stand By Me by Ben E King as a selection of family photos appeared on screen behind her.
She was then joined by other members of True Colours before a heartfelt message was projected on screen, saying: “I love and miss you forever Dad. Love Charis x”.
The emotional tribute touched everyone’s hearts as Katya could be seen wiping away her tears during the performance.

While Nick, 60, was also tearful during the routine as he told viewers: “Not a dry eye in the house”.
Katya added: “To see on stage her looking beautiful in the dress and totally telling the story, I was just so proud.
“It was a wonderful demonstration of why they deserve this so much. It’s going to change their lives 100%.”
