Sunday Brunch viewers all had the same complaint after chef Julius Roberts cooked up his tarragon chicken for the Channel 4 guests.
Julius was on talking about his smallholding and book, The Farm Table, and to show off his culinary skills. He asked host Simon Rimmer what part of a chicken he liked, and he said it was the thigh.
As Julius carved up the chicken he’d cooked, though, viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their concerns. A number of Channel 4 viewers believed that the chicken still looked “raw” or “pink”.

A third commented: “That chicken looks raw.” And a fourth replied: “Just thinking the same [feeling sick emoji].”
The show shared the recipe on Instagram too, with the result looking glorious in a rich saucy. But viewers shared their complaints too, saying: “That chicken looked a bit raw to me.”
However plenty of others shared their praise, with one saying: “This looks incredible and easy too!” Another commented: “This looks so yummy. Will be on my list for next week’s dinner.”
Also on the show were Gareth Malone, Myleene Klass, author Natalie Haynes, singers Zak Abel, Beverley Knight and Don Letts and naturalist Steve Backshall.
And viewers were loving having Myleene on their screens especially. She was on the show to discuss her new podcast, which is based on her book They Don’t Teach This At School.
Sunday Brunch also posted a photo of Myleene with her mug ahead of the show, and one person replied: “Wow! Just saying.” Another person posted on X: “Myleene looking very elegant on Sunday Brunch today!”
Someone else said: “Love Myleene’s dress.” And another person wrote online: “She drinketh from the fountain of eternal youth. And I like it!”
