A new conspiracy theory has embroiled Taylor Swift after fans spotted her piano appearing to ‘play by itself’.
The 33-year-old is currently embarking on her Eras worldwide tour, and headed to the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, at the weekend.
Her latest concerts have been marred by torrential rain – which Taylor kept performing through – but which is thought to have damaged her piano.

It then appeared to play by itself, with Taylor describing the moment as “insane”.
But it’s sparked plenty of theories from eagle-eyed fans, some of whom believe Taylor is actually teasing a brand new song and planned the whole thing.
One clip shared on social media showed Taylor sitting at the piano with her fingers away from the keys as it began to play.
She said: “I didn’t play that. Oh my… do you hear that? Is that happening for you too?”
The singer-songwriter told fans in a longer clip: “So, it rained a lot last night – like a monsoon. It’s clearly broken my keyboard ‘cause it was like literally underwater.
“I didn’t know how any of the instruments were working last night. So, this is broken. I’m just gonna get the guitar!”
Fans are now convinced the viral moment is an easter egg, with one writing on Twitter: “This was planned guys. Remember nothing is accidental.”
While someone else agreed: “She is teasing a song, I just know it. She is a mastermind.”
“Now watch her release a song with these exact piano chords!” another fan gushed.
A fourth fan followed up: “I swear to god this is an easter egg for something.”

Others thought Taylor could just be using pre-recorded pianos for her sets, with one suggesting: “She got caught fake playing and had to cover it up real quick.”
“She’s doing playback,” another said.
It comes after Taylor confirmed she has collaborated with rapper Ice Spice on her track Karma for the deluxe version of Midnights.
She told fans: “Um. SO much to tell you. I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch.
“So delighted to say that ‘Karma’ Featuring the incredible @icespice will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET.”
