The Chase fans complain as they slam ‘rubbish’ episode with ‘clueless’ contestants

The Chase fans have branded the latest episode “rubbish” and joked that the contestants signed up for “the wrong show.”

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed Anil, Lisa, Eva and Brian to take on the ‘Menace’ Darragh Ennis on tonight’s show.

But the contestants failed to get many answers right and opted for low offers, leaving fans furious.

Another wrote: “Doesn’t matter that they’re going low cos they’ll get caught anyway.”

A third person commented: “I’m on The Chase and contestants are guessing their way through.”

While another said: “They’ve got no chance. They should’ve gone on Tipping Point.”

Someone added: “I like how they say educated guess when there’s no received education in the subject whatsoever.”

Others even went as far as to speculate about the show’s future.

One viewer tweeted: “This has become an awful quiz show because they allow contestants with little or no general knowledge to take part. Viewers are already switching off or over.”

Another added: “Totally rubbish, boring game.”

Anil and Eva made it to the final chase but were caught by Darragh with 30 seconds to go.

Student Eva, 18, was hoping to win so she could celebrate her mother’s 50th birthday, whilst Anil said he wanted to treat himself to some new golf clubs.

The Chase is on Monday to Friday at 5pm.
