The Chase player tells Bradley Walsh 'see me after' as ITV host shares concern

A player on The Chase player told much-loved host Bradley Walsh “see me after” after he shared a “painful” concern.

On Friday night (January 27), Bradley welcomed David from London, Tony originally from Dundee, Natalie from Macclesfield and Marion from Nottingham.

With Anne Hegerty at the helm of the show and taking on the quizzing hopefuls, she was all that stood in between them and a large chunk of cash.

First up was David, an A&E doctor from London, who revealed to Bradley that he’d like to take his mum on holiday should he win some cash.

David appeared on the show and managed to bank £32,000

After his cash builder round, David opted for the higher offer for the multiple choice round, which was a whopping £32,000.

Midway through his round though, Brad took the limelight away from the skilled and intelligent quizzer when he revealed that he “had a pain”.

David then made a cheeky quip when he said: “See me after,” relating to the fact that he is an A&E doctor.

Bradley said he had a ‘pain’

After the limelight was back on David, he ended up beating Anne and making it back to the panel with a huge £32K, leaving fans stunned.

“What a performance well done David £32,000 for seat 1 is incredible,” penned one.

“First fella has gone high, £32k, and smashed it,” added another.

A third then said: “Awesome, 32 Grand, Well played David.”

David then quipped back at the host

Tony was next up, with him adding a cool £2,000 to the prize pot.

Up to £37,000, Natalie then took on the chaser and added an additional £3,000.

Marion then added a whopping £10,000 to the prize pot, which brought the total up to £47,000 and only one more round in-between the team getting the full amount.

Getting 23 steps, it was then Anne’s turn to try to beat the quizzers.

With Anne failing to catch the quizzers, they ended up winning £11,750 each.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
