The Chase viewers were left distracted by Cheryl Baker during the celebrity version of the hit ITV quiz show.
The iconic Bucks Fizz band member appeared as a contestant alongside Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin, comedian Mark Steel and sports presenter Jason Bell.
They took on Chaser Jenny Ryan in a bid to raise as much money possible for their chosen charities.

However, before they got the chance to answer the first question, fans took to social media to discuss Cheryl’s appearance.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter,, one fan penned: “Cheryl’s looking well.”
Another added: “How ace is Cheryl Baker.”
A third person posted: “Celebrity Chase, Cheryl Baker and three people I’ve never heard of.”
Cheryl, Mark and Laura managed to make it through to the Final Chase as Jason failed to win his head-to-head round around Jenny.
Working well as a team, the celebrities answered 19 correct question.

However, Laura correctly predicted this wouldn’t be enough to stop the Chaser.
Despite being able to push back Jenny on some questions ultimately she answered more correct questions in her two minutes meaning instead of £142,000 the celebrities left with just £1000 each for their charities.
During the episode, some fans took to Twitter to moan at bosses for airing “another repeat”.
One fan wrote on X: “Thought I’d tuned in to Challenge when I saw this episode. How many times has this been repeated?#TheChase”
A second person agreed: “Yet another repeat of #TheChase Celebrity Special”
While a third social media user moaned: “Another repeat.”
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 5pm
