The One Show presenters Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas were floored when Sarah Ferguson made a joke about the amount of children they have.
The TV duo welcomed The Duchess of Sussex onto the BBC programme to discuss her latest novel, A Most Intriguing Lady.
Th 63-year-old has also released several children’s books and revealed she brought them with her into the studio.

“I’ve brought the books for you guys because between you, you’ve got about 20 children,” the former wife of Prince Andrew joked to the presenters.
As laughter could be heard from the studio crew, Alex turned and giggled in the direction of her co-star as he agreed: “We do. We’ve got a farm!”
“We’ve got a farm of kids. She’s right,” the former professional footballer added.
Sarah exclaimed: “A kindergarten!” as Alex agreed: “A kindergarten.”
The author also discussed being in possession of the Queen’s corgi’s following her death on September 8 2022.
“Because they’re national treasures, I’m terrified when they go out running,” she told the duo.
The royal continued: “I remember [the Queen] used to say there should be more kindness in the world, and when I look at the them I think, ‘Yes, come on’.”
“I’m going to be kind,” added Alex as Sarah clarified: “Well, even more kind!”
She recently revealed she noticed some spooky behaviour from the pooches as she detailed how Sandy and Muick appear to “bark at nothing”, believing it to actually be the ghost of her late mother-in-law.
Speaking to People, she said: “They are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic.
“But they’re total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and there’s no squirrels in sight, I believe it’s because the Queen is passing by.”
The Duchess of York further claimed that the two pooches found her “very funny”, but that it was also a “big honour” to be tasked with looking after the “national treasure”.
