The BBC series recently received an award at the TV BAFTAs last week for their special episode, The Repair Shop: A Royal Visit, which featured King Charles III.
During the show, Jay and the Repair Shop specialists visited the King at Dumfries House in Scotland.
Speaking about what else is in store for the show, Jay told Hello Magazine: “I think we’ve been commissioned for another two years if I’m not mistaken.
“We are going to do more. We’ve just won a BAFTA so I think they’re going to want us to stay on air.”
Away from the show, Jay recently hit headlines after he revealed that has 27 siblings and said his biological father had multiple children away from his mother.
The 53-year-old spoke openly about his discovery while on the Big Fish with Spencer Matthews podcast.
He said: “I knew I had more brothers and sisters, and when I went to London with him and met the people he was living with, there were four there.
“I said to him, ‘I know there’s more, I remember meeting a sister that was older than me, when you had me at five’. And he said, ‘No, no.’ I said, ‘Are you sure?’ ‘No, no, no, there’s no more’.
“So I left that place, and the half-sister rang me and then she said to me, ‘Yeah, there is more, there’s loads more’. I said, ‘Well how many more is there?’ She’s like, ‘There’s 25’. I was like, ‘Wow’.”
