This Morning hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond struggled to introduce their ITV daytime show on Friday (January 20) as a live band rushed into the studio.
Poor Dermot tried his best to greet viewers but he was drowned out by a brilliant live band performing a special routine to celebrate Chinese New Year.
It was just a minute into the show when the talented troop burst into the studio beating drums and circling the room.

The performers were dressed in beautiful red and gold outfits – and some were dressed up as a huge dragon.
Alison said: This is amazing, hello and welcome to your Friday’s This Morning! And Happy Chinese New Year!”
Dermot started thanking the performers for their “wonderful performance”, but he was barely audible given the band’s lively routine.
But more chaos was in store as it wasn’t long before the costume dragon rushed over to the kitchen area and ‘stole’ some lettuce from the cupboard.
Alison jokingly noted: “Oh, they’re getting the lettuce, they’re getting the lettuce now.”
But the duo noticed the ‘dragon’ was struggling to chomp the vegetable, so Dermot cried out: “It’s a tough lettuce. It doesn’t want to come!”
Chinese New Year is set to occur from January 22 and this year is the Year of the Rabbit; specifically the Water Rabbit.

Later on, presenter Gok Wan explained why Chinese New Year is so important.
The fashionista said:” It’s the most important date in the Chinese calendar. Over the whole of Asia, actually, and it’s symoblising family and love and care and eating and drinking and all of that stuff.”
He added that he has a “good feeling” about 2023 as he went on: “The rabbit’s about prosperity, it’s about feeling good, it’s about connection, it’s about family.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
