London City Airport scrapping the 100ml liquid rule for hand luggage was on the agenda and Alison opened up about previously being caught out by the strict security rule.
She explained: “That’s happened to me before, I had to give a perfume in. I actually nearly cried.
“I literally sprayed the whole thing. I smelt like the bottle of perfume going through”.
The guest asked: “Was it like first class you went on because everyone left the area.”
Alison joked “I don’t travel in first class, always economy.”
The guest added: “Oh come on you do.”
Before the end of the conversation, Alison revealed “Can I say something I’ve flown in first class once thats the only time.
“I was upgraded because my chair broke so they upgraded me.”
A cheeky Dermot replied: “She was back there with an axe saw.
“It was amazing i’m not going to lie but I never travel first class,” Alison concluded.
Alison and Dermot are currently filling in for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as they take a break away from the show for the Easter holidays.
The presenters will reportedly be back on the famous sofa on Monday, April 17.
They often take a break from the ITV show during half-term.
