“And she said ‘I bought you this, I know you’re not going to wear it under your dress, but I’ve bought you two actually because I think they will look really nice on you.”

Holly also confessed that it had been “up and down” for her since the Phillip Schofield affair drama.

Holly said: “If I’m really honest it’s been up and down.

“I think it’s been a really difficult year for everybody but what’s lovely is, you find that people rally around you and the goodwill is there. People want things to move on.

“It all feels different. During Covid, the viewers relied on us to kind of give them help and talk them through it and give that bit of grounding and information. It’s funny now, because I think that’s what’s lovely about This Morning.

Talking about her future hopes for the show, she added: “I’d love to just continue how it is. We are very blessed. “I think we’re set to continue that.”
