It’s been a strange year for Joe Exotic. While still locked inside his jail cell in Fort Worth, Texas, the Tiger King has begged celebs for cash for a half-hearted – and very public – escape plan. He even set out on a rather transphobic 2024 presidential run.
Now, millions of people around the world are ringing in the festive season. And while there probably won’t be any rocking around the prison Christmas tree for Exotic, being behind bars isn’t going to stop him chowing down on a festive dinner.
Last year the 60-year-old Netflix star delighted in a fusion-inspired festive feast. But his veggie arch-nemesis, Carole Baskin, certainly wouldn’t approve.

‘Tis the season to catch up with the Daily Star’s latest and greatest festive news, here.
Despite a lack of turkey, Exotic was treated to a baked Cornish hen, stuffing, carrots and gravy, according to TMZ – which seems nothing out of the ordinary. But all of that was served on a bed of tofu fried rice.
And Brits would scoff down his bread and butter dessert down with glee, which came with an extra helping of fruit and holiday pies for good measure. It’s much of a muchness to his menu two years prior, which saw him woof down the same fancy chicken, but this time with a side of mac and cheese, sweet peas and drizzled in cornbread dressing.
It was all finished off with a slice of pumpkin pie.
Back in 2019, Exotic was convicted of two counts of attempted murder for hire, as a plot to kill Big Cat Sanctuary owner Carole Baskin backfired. Alongside a string of 17 animal cruelty charges, the reality star is serving a 22-year sentence in the slammer.
Baskin had been outspoken against a major attraction at his Wynnewood, Oklahoma zoo, which was called ‘Play Times with Tiger Cubs’.
Prosecutors unearthed that he hired two men for $10,000 (£7,850) to kill his biggest rival after she sued him for more than $1 million (£785,000). One was an undercover FBI agent.
The crook field for retrial last year, which failed miserably. The judge told him that it was ultimately his “own words that convicted him,” according to court documents.
The case was the focus of smash-hit 2020 Netflix series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness. Exotic burst onto the scene, as a self described “gay, gun-carrying redneck with a mullet,” captivating millions of fans around the world.
