The president of Marvel studios Kevin Feige has confirmed that Spiderman 4 is happening after the sucess of the third movie.
Tom Holland will be the first Spiderman to get three movies with Toby Maguire’s trilogy running from 2002 to 2007, and Andrew Garfield starring in The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012 and its sequel in 2014.
Kevin told Entertainment Weekly: “All I will say is that we have the story. We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.”

Whether or not Tom will team up with “Spider-Man” actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield like he did in the previous series remains unknown.
Both actors have expressed interest in returning for a new “Spider-Man” movie.
Considering he has been such a successful Spiderman Tom has admitted in the past that he didn’t expect to land the huge role.
Tom said: “I look back on it and it was definitely the most stressful time of my life.
“I didn’t know whether my life was about to change and I wanted to play this character that I’d grown up loving and admiring.”
The new movie follows on from a record-breaking box-office release that saw Spider-Man: No Way Home dominate the global box office.
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life, and putting those he cared about most at risk.
When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who have ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe.
SPOLILER ALERT : The film ended with a dramatic cliff hanger where everyone’s memories were erased, except for Spiderman’s.
It is likely that the fourth film will follow on from that.
The news come after fans were hoping to see Tom as a surprise guest in pop star Rihanna’s Super Bowl set.
This was because Tom gave a performance to Rihanna’s song Umbrella in 2017.
One fan wrote: “I was hoping for a Tom Holland appearance during Umbrella,”
Another said: “Ok so I wasn’t the only one that thought Rihanna should have brought out Tom Holland during the song umbrella.”
A third added: “If there’s anything she needs to be called out on it’s not having Tom Holland cameo in Umbrella.”
