Speaking on her evening show on TalkTV on Monday (September 18), Vanessa recalled the incident in 2006 when she made an appearance on Brand’s hit show 1 Leicester Square.
She said that the had initially branded him a “friend” after first working together on the Big Brother side show.
But while appearing on his solo show, her opinion of him changed dramatically when he asked: “Can I have it off with either you or your daughters?”
Vanessa, horrified, turned down Russell’s proposal, to which he replied: “Or here’s a whacky suggestion … or three at once!”
Feltz again said no to the idea, as he answered back: “Damn, she’s always one step ahead. Vanessa Feltz, come on, some of them are adults”.
She reiterated that “the answer [was] no”, but Brand continued to ask to make it happen. Vanessa became visibly uncomfortable, asking Russell: “Will you stop it! No you can’t”.
The Celebs Go Dating star then appealed to Russell’s better nature saying, “When you have your own daughters, you will know why I said that”, to which he responded: “Well I won’t sleep with them”.
Looking back at the incident, Vanessa agreed with her sentiment seventeen years prior.
Vanessa added that she felt put into an awkward position by the presenter, as she was surrounded in a theatre with a live audience laughing along.
“Are you meant to think it’s funny and play along? Are you meant to stand up and walk out in high dudgeon and look as if you are a spoil-sport and a party-pooper? What are you supposed to do?” she asked her viewers.
“I know, I was deeply offended then, as I remain deeply offended now at the idea of him saying, ‘I want to have sex with you and both your daughters’.
“I think one of my daughters was 15 years old at the time and the answer was as you saw me say there, was emphatically, ‘No!’,” she concluded.
Feltz admitted she went on to work with him on several other occasions, and also knew of his promiscuous ways, but insisted she believed all encounters were consensual.
Russell vehemently denies all of the “very serious and criminal allegations” made against him in the explosive exposé from Channel 4 and The Times.
In a YouTube statement, he said: “Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.
“These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies and as I have written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
“Now during that time of promiscuity the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent, and I am being transparent about it now as well.
“To see that transparency metastasised into something criminal, that I absolutely deny, makes me question is there another agenda at play.”
The 90-minute documentary outlined five women’s stories as he was alleged to have committed rape, sexual abuse and physical assault.
Before the documentary was aired, Brand posted to his Youtube channel to refute the claims, stressing that all relationships he had were consensual.
