Winnie the Pooh horror film so gory people will be 'fainting in cinemas'

One new horror film could be set to have fans ‘passing out’ in cinemas.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is the children’s book adaptation we’ve all been waiting for. The grisly new flick will see plump Pooh Bear and his trusty pal Piglet turned into rabid beasts after Christopher Robin left them alone too long.

When Christopher decides to return to the Hundred Acre Wood with a few pals in tow, things quickly start to go awry.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, she gushed: “I’ve been really lucky with the reactions I’ve had. I’ve had messages from people being like, ‘Oh this is so cool, I loved Winnie the Pooh as a child and now I get to enjoy it again as an adult!’

“I’m not going to go into too much detail for people who haven’t seen the film, but there’s a scene with me and Piglet having a bit of a standoff.

“And someone sent me a video, the audience reaction to this specific scene. People were cheering and screaming!

“When I saw the video it gave me goosebumps, it was the nicest feeling seeing people react in such a positive way. I had so much fun filming that scene. People having so much fun watching it, it fills my heart with happiness honestly.”

But could Amber see people fainting in their bucket seats?

She admitted: “Some of the deaths are very gory so I can see that happening, it’s a possibility!”

It was difficult for the British actress to avoid getting personally spooked while on set, and one particularly harrowing scene had her heart aflutter.

She confessed she was kept tied up on set for nine long hours after being taken hostage by the rabid creatures.

Amber added: “I had some really interesting scenes. I have one where I’ve been taken hostage by Pooh and I’m tied up – they actually had me tied up for about nine hours on set. So that was quite scary.

“And when you’ve got this big beast with a Pooh mask on stood in front of you, drooling honey on your face and you’re trying to escape, it is genuinely quite scary!”
