Dr. Natalie Macaluso, who was the basis for Margot Robbie’s character in The Wolf of Wall Street, has said that she believes the steamy sex scene in the film was a “fantasy” of her former husband’s.
The ex-wife of Jordan Belfort addressed the scene in the movie where Margot seduced her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in a nursery.
At the end of the steamy scene, it backfired on Robbie’s character as DiCaprio’s character points out that there is a camera hidden in a teddy bear on the drawers, through which two hired investigators are watching.

As reported by LadBible, Dr. Macaluso, who was the real-life inspiration for the character, has cleared up whether or not the scene was based on real life.
Taking to TikTok she said: “So many of you ask me – ‘is that scene in the nursery real?’ Well, I’m gonna break it down for you.
“Do you remember that scene where Margot is laying back and Jordan comes in and Margot – me – had the baby in her arms and she’s so mad at him for cheating on her for the hundredth time?
“And so she’s in the nursery and she lifts up her leg and says ‘there’s going to be nothing but short skirts around here’ – did that ever happen?
“No way! I am not that sexy. I wish I was, but I think that was my ex-husband’s fantasy of what he wanted me to be like.
“Secondly, there were cameras in the room, but I did not perform that sexually seductive act toward him.”
This comes after Margot Robbie has lifted the lid on just how some raunchy nude scenes are filmed – especially when they require a bit of hair down below.
The Hollywood superstar was in Australia for the premiere of her new film, Babylon, alongside co-star Diego Calva, when she made the shocking behind-the-scenes revelation during a podcast appearance.
“They have things called merkins, which is like a wig but for genitalia,” she said.
“I remember on Wolf Of Wall Street there was an entire merkin room, there was a whole room full of merkins.
“I guess people would go in and pick out, you know.
“I’m not going to go into detail but it was a fascinating, and little-known fact about the film-making industry.”
