Alexander Armstrong is one of the most in demand entertainers in the UK at the moment, working in TV, radio, music and books.
Becoming a regular fixture in many people’s homes, Armstrong, 53, currently hosts BBC quiz show Pointless, together with a rotating co-star taking the seat of former host Richard Osman. But as well as this, Alexander hosts a radio show for Classic FM, as well as pursuing his own musical career.
But aside from his entertainment profession, Alexander has built a cosy home life with wife Hannah Bronwen Snow and their four boisterous kids. Very little is known about their relationship as Hannah keeps herself and the kids out of the spotlight, leaving doting dad Alexander alone in the public eye.

So, as the pair’s marriage goes from strength to strength, Daily Star looks at Alexander Armstrong’s rather mysterious love life.
Chance meeting
Alexander and Hannah first met each other after being set up by a mutual friend in 2001. Alexander immediately fell for Hannah, who at the time was working for high-street titan Harvey Nichols as an events organiser.
After a period of missing each other, they once again crossed paths by chance whilst at a polo match. It was here when Alexander became “smitten” with Snow, and he began to woo her, with the pair eventually getting into a relationship.
In 2002, Armstrong plucked up the courage to pop the question in the Italian city of Pisa, to which she joyfully accepted. The pair eventually got hitched on August 27, 2003 and have been happily loved up ever since, with Armstrong saying married life is “fantastic”.
Strong bonds and strong advice
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, the Have I Got News For You star admitted that things were going from strength to strength for him and his loving wife. He gushed over his wife, saying: “It gets better and better.
“In order for it to work at its best, you have to realise quite how good marriage is and I think that’s what your first year is all about,” he added. However, he said that the marriage had not changed anything about how they show their love for one another.
“There is the very obvious thing that suddenly you’re in it for the long run,” Alexander added. “But you don’t worry so much about things, which is good.”
Both Hannah and Alexander share four young boys: Rex, Patrick, Henry and Edward. It is also believed that Hannah has given up her job at Harvey Nichols to become a doting stay-at-home mum and look after the kids on the couple’s huge 26-acre farm in the Gloucestershire village of Bledington.

Despite being a stay-at-home mum to the little sprogs, Hannah does not let Alexander off the hook, as he is left to look after the boys. Armstrong has previously said he struggled to adapt to the 24/7 lifestyle of being a parent.
Writing in the Guardian newspaper, he admitted that first-time parents feel like they can “clock out of” their duties as a parent, but after a few weeks of looking after the newborn “you suddenly realise it’s not like that.” He added that the moment he noticed this, he saw it as “slightly shocking”.
Alexander also quipped that it is hard to straddle the line between being a doting father figure and also laying down the law. But despite his confessions, he joked that he was the “good cop” parent of the duo – but will be “preachy” about using devices too much if needed.
Reflecting on his new brood, he admitted that his life’s perspective has completely changed. Beforehand, Alexander felt his career was his priority, but now he has a family, that means “everything” to him and his clan will always come first.
