Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen has returned to social media after months of silence.
Amanda shot to fame with her brood on Channel 5’s hit reality show Our Yorkshire Farm, set on their bustling Ravenseat farmstead. Recently though, the mum of nine has taken a step back from the limelight following her split and the show’s axing.
She used to be a regular on Instagram, giving peeks into her life with the kids and their adorable farm critters. But now, she’s back, and shared a snap this week that fans dubbed “amazing.”

Taking to her Instagram she uploaded an ethereal shot of the Northern Lights lighting up Blighty’s skies, reports the Express. Her caption was simple yet fitting: “Heavens above! So beautiful,” accompanied by a string of hashtags – #northernlights #darkskies #yorkshire #aurora #solarstorm #borealis.

Fans were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section, with one fan gushing: “Wasn’t it just stunning. So lucky to see.” Another chimed in with: “Isn’t it incredible,” while a third echoed: “Happy to see you back, amazing!” Yet another admirer commented: “Absolutely amazing,” and someone else called it “Magnificent.”
It comes after Amanda spoke out over her son landing a new TV show. The Yorkshire Shepherdess’ son Reuben is back on screens for his very own solo show, Reuben: Life in the Dales.

Reuben shot to fame with mum Amanda, dad Clive and his eight siblings on the Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm in 2018. But in 2022, the show was ‘axed’ by Channel 5 – leaving fans gutted.
However, last month Reuben Owen’s new show kicked off – much to the delight of fans. The programme follows Reuben, his girlfriend Sarah and pal Tommy, and the shenanigans they get up to across Yorkshire’s farmland. But notably missing from the cast is mum Amanda.

But Amanda was quick to share her thoughts on Reuben’s new TV gig. Sharing a sweet snap of the pair posing on Instagram, she wrote in the caption: “So proud of big lad @reubenowen74. He’s a star.”
Fans were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section. One person said: “Agree with you 100 percent Amanda he is a star. He’s grown into an amazing young man and I really enjoyed the new show. Still hoping to see you all back on screen together one day.”
