Amanda Owen tipped for huge reality show stint to ‘turn things around’ after ‘axe’

Amanda Owen could be set to land a role on a huge celeb reality show.

The TV favourite, 49, shot of fame thanks to her show, Our Yorkshire Farm – which premiered back in 2018. The series introduced viewers to the Owen clan, and followed the family on their sprawling 2000-acre farm, Ravenseat Farm.

Amanda, Clive and their nine children, including Reuben, became firm-favourites. But in 2022, the show was ‘axed’ by Channel 5 – leaving viewers gutted.

And in another blow to fans, Amanda and Clive then confirmed their separation after 22 years. It was then reported that the pair had ended things after Amanda’s affair came to light.

Since then, Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda has kept a relatively low-profile. What’s more, son Ruben has even recently landed a brand new solo Channel 5 show, Reuben: Life in the Dales.

However, it’s now been claimed that mum-of-nine Amanda could set to take part in a huge celeb reality show. And it’s worlds away from her life on the Yorkshire farm.

In exclusive odds provided by Crypto Casino LTD, the bookies have chalked up Amanda to appear on Strictly Come Dancing at odds of 20/1. I’m A Celebrity is next, with odds of 33/1, followed by Celebs Go Dating with the same odds.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, a PR expert told us how Amanda appearing on a reality show will “showcase different aspects of her personality” as well as broaden her audience beyond her farming background.”

Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo added: “strictly-come-dancing>Strictly Come Dancing, with its focus on dance and entertainment, could provide Amanda with a platform to display her charisma and grace, potentially appealing to a wider demographic. It also tends to be viewed in a positive light, and celebrities taking part often gain popularity and exposure from participating, as we’ve seen with many stars over the last 20 years.”

Another PR expert also told us how Amanda’s personal life splashed on the headlines recently could play a factor into her reality show stint. Rochelle White said: “The public love a story especially a turn around story.”

She added: “To see her on Strictly would be a bit of a game changer. It would far removed from what she has been known for and how it is viewed. Both Strictly and I’m A Celeb, could work for her and grow her presents and brand in the public eye. If she has the right team around her these could be great moves for her.”
