Ashley Roberts is not on board with one thing Amanda Holden just loves to do.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Heart Radio star Ashley Roberts discussed her co-star Amanda Holden’s bizarre morning snack – Marmite and boiled eggs.
The singer cringed at the thought but supported her pal Holden: “Let’s just talk about this, she loves her Marmite, Vegemite, all that stuff – not for me, but power to her!”

Holden sparked some serious debate after sharing her unusual breakfast of choice recently. The Britain’s Got Talent star showed her Instagram followers how she likes to enjoy her hard boiled eggs in the morning in a short video.

She filmed herself squeezing Marmite onto the egg and told the camera: “”I don’t understand why everyone thinks this is a gross thing to do. This is my favourite thing to do.” She then took a bite, exclaiming: “Oh my God. Try it!”
Holden’s fans were definitely not convinced and were horrified at her breakfast ritual. Someone commented: “Not normal,” while another doubtful follower added: “Eggs yes, but marmite a definite no.”
One fan simply wrote: “Absolutely not,” while another joined in: “Wrong on so many levels.” However, there were a few supporters of Amanda’s bizarre breakfast.

Someone typed: “Yes! Not directly on the egg but I have it on the toast I have with the egg. Delicious.” Meanwhile, another gushed, “It’s the best taste scrambled eggs on toast with marmite too, deeebloodylicous.”
“Actually that looks nice. I normally put salt on boiled egg. This is better,” someone else chimed in. Still on the topic of food, Ashley explained how one of her beloved classic American dishes has become her boyfriend’s new favourite.

The former Pussycat Doll, who is dating artist George Rollinson, explained: “My boyfriend is English and I gave him his first peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Toasted bread, peanut butter melts a bit, jelly. He was like: ‘Oh my god,’ he was so resistant to trying it!”
“I was like: ‘I wouldn’t give you something that wasn’t good!’ He loved it. He had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich the other day when I wasn’t around. I was like: ‘Woah! Okay!”
