The rapper famed for a remix of Baby Shark has been shot dead.
Michael Robinson, best known to fans as Ralan Styles, was in Columbus, Ohio when he was killed after an alleged street theft. According to police reports, the rapper was shot as a robber tried to steal the chain he had been wearing.
Witnesses claim the suspect opened fire when Michael refused to hand over the chain. Police investigating the incident discovered the musician’s body in a building shortly after it was reported and he was pronounced dead at the scene, aged just 22.

Suspect Mahamood Hassan was detained by cops shortly after the shooting. The 24-year-old has now been charged with Michael’s murder, according to local media in the area.
Reports claim the suspect had fled the scene shortly after the shooting, but police were able to detain him after catching him just blocks away from where the robbery took place. Court documents relating to the case also placed Mahamood as a suspect, after descriptions of the suspect’s clothes matched those that he had been wearing at the time.
The family of Michael, whose Baby Shark remix garnered millions of views online, has been left distraught following his shock death. Michael’s brother, known publicly as Lil’ Goat, admitted the family has been shattered by the news.
Taking to his Instagram account, the rapper sobbed: “Not my lil brother man. I’m still waiting for you to call me and tell me this whole thing is a joke.
“My heart is f***ing broken, I’ll never be the same,” Lil Goat added, before reminiscing on their shared memories, including “rapping at the lunch table in middle school” as well as eating and fighting with each other.
His death has also prompted a wave of support from his fans and friends, with many of his loved ones paying tribute. Jared Krumm posted to his own Instagram story: “We lost you way too soon.
“There was never a dull moment with you whether we were in the studio, chilling in Jake’s basement, or even riding in the car to McDonalds,” he added. Jared went on to say that Michael’s legacy would continue and that his energy would never be forgotten by his pals.
Outside of his music career, Michael’s Youtube career was also taking off before he was gunned down. Over 150 videos had been made for his channel, which had garnered well over 100,000 subscribers.
Michael’s last upload to Youtube was a music video for his song “Polyamorous”, featuring American TV host Justina Valentine. He also was a keen producer and content creator, and had made a number of videos for his brother Lil Goat, as well as fellow rapper Einer Bankz.
