Charlie Stayt urged his co-star to move on after a dig was thrown his way.
The presenter, 61, teamed up with Naga Munchetty to host Friday’s instalment (March 22) of BBC Breakfast. One of the top stories included Queen Camilla visiting a bakery in Northern Ireland, but surprisingly the spotlight wasn’t on the royal.
The Queen received a number of treats from Coffey’s Butchers, The Arcadia deli and Knotts Bakery during a visit to Belfast on Wednesday (March 20). At Knotts Bakery, 23-month-old Fitz Corrie-Salmon stole the show as he was dressed to impress in a tuxedo.

Fitz, the son of bakery owner William Corrie and his wife Zoe Salmon, was all smiles as Camilla entered the shop. Even Camilla couldn’t leave without mentioning Fritz, remarking that he was “a natural” in front of photographers.
Back in the studio, Charlie pointed out that the person behind the camera didn’t know who to film as young Fitz grabbed the attention of everyone in the shop.
Charlie and Naga then turned to Sarah Keith-Lucas who had the latest weather update for viewers. But before Sarah began, she said of Fitz: “I was jealous of his hair, not only his tuxedo.”
Naga, 49, agreed that the youngster had a “very fine head of hair”, leading Sarah to make a cheeky dig at her co-star. “Wasn’t it? Did he even beat Charlie in the haircut department?” she quipped.
The presenter was quick to agree as she responded: “Yes, easily.” Charlie wasn’t as happy with the comment as he bluntly replied: “Yes thank you for raising that issue.”
Keen to move on, the newsreader added: “Now for the weather. How about that?” Sarah agreed: “Shall I stick to the weather now?” before sharing the latest forecast update with viewers.
