BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty shocked by Lewis Capaldi’s rude sex remark on-air

Lewis Capaldi left Naga Munchetty mortified with his outrageous comments live on BBC Breakfast.

The beloved Scottish singer turns 28 today (October 7), so it’s only fair we re-live his beautifully chaotic interview on the BBC One breakfast show back in September 2022. Viewers probably weren’t expecting to hear about the sex act of ‘rimming’ as they tucked into their cornflakes.

Naga and co-host Charlie Stayt welcomed the singer onto the red sofa to discuss his new single Forget Me.Towards the end of the interview, Lewis decided to pay Charlie a compliment.

Charlie returned the favour and responded: “Well you’ve got great hair too.” The Before You Go hitmaker leaned over and gave him a high five.

Naga then jokingly asking the pair: “Would you like a room?”. But Lewis seemed to think she was asking him something else – something very different indeed.

He floored the presenters as he responded: “I thought you said rim.” A shocked Naga burst out laughing at the X-rated outburst, as did members of the crew in the studio.
