BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty was poured over in a recent tribute from her Radio co-host pal.
Radio 4 star Emma Barnett took to Instagram to share a sweet post of her with Naga as she gushed about the pair’s “sisterhood”. The pair could be seen grinning ear to ear as they posed fresh-faced for an outside snap.
She captioned the post: “This woman A friendship and broadcasting sisterhood – forged years ago through our @bbc5live link and a bond I treasure. I love our no BS talks, laughs and mutual advice sessions.

“Never change @tvnaga (And thanks for the early morning drill tips ahead of my new job @bbctodayprogramme on @bbcradio4) @bbcbreakfast has trained you well #straighttalk #soundwoman #friendship #sisterhood”
Fans also flooded the comments with sweet remarks about the pair. One said: “Two of the most inspirational women in broadcasting. If I had to choose for one of those your ideal guest dinner parties. You two hands down.”
A second added: “Two women who I greatly admire and inspire me! Would@loge@to be a fly on the wall and listen in.” While a third penned: “Two of my favourites. Love listening to both of your shows! Good luck Emma on the today programme.”
A fourth posted: “This is the relationship we all needed to know about, couldn’t love this more.” A fifth put: “Love this pic so much! Warms my heart that you two are such good friends.”
This comes after BBC Breakfast took a hilarious turn after hosts Naga and Charlie Stayt awkwardly discussed “pinching balls”. During his sports segment, Mike Bushell dished out the latest golf news and explained that an alligator halted a game in New Orleans after walking on the course.
The sports reporter stated he’s rather alligators than baboons as they are known to pinch balls during games. Mike said: “I think I’d rather have alligators holding up play than cheeky baboons like in South Africa where they actually have baboon monitors to stop the baboons pinching your balls.”
The studio then fell silent before Charlie laughed: “That’s a tough job isn’t it? I wouldn’t want that job! You got to be careful around Baboons.”
